Hello! 👋
I've been working in hospitality for over 2️⃣0️⃣ years, living and breathing customer service and employee engagement. There are few things more rewarding than giving that 💥Ah-Ha💥 moment to a colleague who has been doing their job longer than I have been alive and helping them see things in new ways. Even better is when I can use my critical thinking and creativity to find a way to make their job easier or more effective. After 1️⃣2️⃣ years in hotel operations, I started my transition into Human Resources.
Before landing in H.R., I led a project with the goal of increasing productivity 📈 around my hotel through new SOPs, removing obstacles, increasing efficiency and analyzing data trends of payroll, operating costs & time-motion studies. This transition-role expanded my mind 🧠 to see how all of the functions of the hotel worked together and made me even more impactful in my role as an HR leader by being able to balance colleague engagement 🥳, guest needs 🛀, and financial goals 💰.
Outside of work I'm a family-man 🏡 and in my free time I study 📚 advancements in organizational tools and theory 🛠, web/app design 🤳, and personal growth/management 👨💻.
